So there I was, minding my own business at our headquarters here at Star Eye Media when my phone rang. It might as well have been God himself because it was a pretty important Hollywood talent agent and close friend, Derek X, who said something like this: “Alexus, you have to hear this music, these guys are foreign but they have a big sound.” So, jumping on my computer, I looked the band up and gave them a whirl. Um, can I say, OMFG!? This guy is amazing. The main man’s name is Sam Oak, sings entirely in Farsi on the project, yet the music is like, like, like wow. Take Nirvana, Pink Floyd, a hot house music DJ, and add some Portishead to it and you have Jhanvieh. I had to write a review on them and sponsor them. This band just made it big on the global tip. I see big things in Sam’s future. Oh yeah, did I mention he is one handsome and polite character. What more can you want in a passionate rocker.
